Enjoy two hours with other women who want to bring out their funny side. In these tough days we women are going to need our wits about us, literally! Sometimes women can be nags, sometimes we can be depressed, sometimes we can be open and honest and a shoulder to cry on, but we also know we can be outstandingly funny. Why not bring this talent to the fore, use humour to change the world, to change your business or even to change the beds! Take a fresh look at yourself through a comedy lens and make the whole world smile.
We run two hour workshops and also provide individual coaching designed to bring out the funny in the fairer sex which leads to improved self confidence and better presentation skills.
Traditionally, wedding speeches and after dinner entertainment has been a male arena. But now it is socially acceptable for the bride to have a few anecdotes of her own and many women have a story to share on professional platforms. A few tricks of the comedy trade are handy to have up your sleeve and tapping your own personal funny bone can be extremely empowering.
Funny Women now attracts over 200 women from all walks of life to enter the Funny Women Awards, now in its seventh year. This is a major leap of faith for many of the women who enter the competition, so we provide a nurturing environment to actively encourage more women to have a go at stand up comedy.
For business, Funny Women has taken what it’s learned through developing and producing live comedy to create bespoke corporate events and interactive workshops for you and your colleagues – either in your own business environment or in a venue of your choice. The focus can be on building confidence and presentation skills, to team building.
For personal development – whether you want to become a professional comic or just want to enhance your self confidence – enrolling in one of Funny Women’s comedy workshops or some personal one-on-one coaching might be just the start of funnier things to come.
In all cases for both business and personal training, we use top female trainers with experience in broadcast and live performance.
