Despite the fact that there is a question mark about two well known comedy institutions not providing a much needed platform for female performers, READ HERE, registration for this year's Funny Women Awards is now open! We look forward to seeing the best emerging new talent around the UK and encouraging commissioners and promoters to see what's happening out there on the circuit!

In the meantime tickets are selling fast for Brighton Nights at Komedia on 11^th February with the delightful Sunna Jarman hosting. Featuring Brighton’s very own Short and Girlie, extremely talented past Funny Women finalists Lindsay Sharman and Sarah Callaghan, and fantastic headline act Rachel Parris. We are also once again holding a raffle to raise money for local Brighton charity RISE.

You can also see us at the Leicester Comedy festival on the 15^th February, for a celebration with bubbly and nibbles and great comedy with Lara A King (Funny Women Awards Winner 2011) and Suzy Bennett (Funny Women Awards Winner 2006) at the Hotel Maiyango. And for those aspiring comedians among you, or those who just want to gain some confidence and enhance their communication skills, we are also holding a Leicester Funny Women workshop. Sign up now!
