Funny Women runs workshops to bring out the funny in the fairer sex during the Edinburgh Fringe. A few tricks of the comedy trade are handy to have up your sleeve and tapping your own personal funny bone can be an extremely empowering tool for a woman.

We now attract over 200 women each year to enter our unique competition, the NIVEA Funny Women Awards. The workshop programme is a natural extension of this activity and we’ve seen some wonderful new talent in development as we’ve toured the country this year.

Whether you want to become a professional comic or just want to enhance your self confidence an improve your presentation skills – enrolling in one of our comedy workshops might be just the start of funnier things to come.

Dates and places are limited. Each workshop session lasts two hours and costs £45 per head. Preferential discounts are available for group bookings of 10 or more women enrolling at the same time.
